Remember Detective Brudnicki from CAPTURED BY THE DRAGON WARRIOR? Well, here he is getting his HEA with Specialist Munni, the Cero assigned to work with the Akron Police Department. Reluctant to trust after a terrible marriage, Caden Brudnicki isn't sure he wants anything Munni proposes. Not that it isn't clear that Brudnicki has been burning the candle at both ends and probably heading straight into heart attack, but mates? Fated mates? Munni makes a very compelling argument, and Brudnicki doesn't resist for long.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: To read in order, enjoy this short story after reading Captured by the Dragon Warrior. The Sidekicks are short stories related to side characters in the Furry Alien Mates series who deserve their HEAs too.

Bang, Bang, baby is a delightful short story following Delaney’s Furry Alien Mates. This whole series has been very enjoyable and Bang is no different. Caden is a cop, working a lot more long hours than he needs to. As leaves the station and stands in the bright morning light trying to get his key fob to work so he can go home, he is stopped short by Munni. Spec. Olicur Munni in one of the aliens, on the Norlon Security Team. They have worked together a few times and Caden secretly has the hots for Munni. Evidently that feeling is mutual because Munni tosses Caden over his shoulder and takes him to his shuttle and back to his ship, telling Caden he has already cleared vacation time with his boss before Munni shanghaied him. Caden passes out on the shuttle and wakes up in a soft bed, naked, having slept 16 hours. Then Munni proceeds to woo Caden. IS Caden prepared to give up everything on Earth for a six and a half foot tall lizard who it turns out is his mate?
The only complaint I have is that I wish this was a longer story. Prior reading is not required but would be helpful.

I've been wanting Brudnicki's story since meeting him in Captured by the Dragon Warrior. Very happy with this story! I just wanted it to be longer lol :)
